Company History

As former military professionals, Rampart Construction’s two partners, Eric Lutz and Rob Melton, know about dependability and trust. They’ve been on the front lines, where precision is paramount and sound judgment and follow-through are critical. “In the military, attention to detail keeps everybody alive; in building, it keeps everybody happy,” says Melton, an Air Force Academy graduate. Beyond their distinguished careers in the service, each brings unique talents and perspective to the company. With an MBA (Rob) and years of leading troops in the field (Eric), they could have done anything, but building is their passion. “We’re builders because we want to be,” Melton says. With over 20 years combined experience in the industry, their proven track record for quality, excellence and customer satisfaction speaks for itself.
