My watercolor studies of children and adults are inspired and influenced by watercolorists such as Jan Kunz, Mary Whyte, and Rhett Thurmond. Many of my oil paintings focus on architectural structures, street scenes, and the human form.

Professional Background

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Laurie received her bachelor of science degree from the Ohio State University. An award winning editorial cartoonist in high school, Laurie continued her drawing in college. Laurie has been honored with numerous awards for her paintings. Her paintings can now be found in private collections throughout the United States.
