Professional Background
Jerry relocated to the Summerville area just over 6 years ago, attracted by the good schools, natural beauty, small town feel and historic charm of the area. Eager to help contribute to and preserve what they found attractive here, the Crotty family quickly became involved in the community. His wife is a public school teacher, former board member and active volunteer at the community theatre where his children have enjoyed lead roles in several productions. He is an active member of the White Gables Homeowners Association, a H.O.S.T volunteer at Summerville Elementary, a member of the Board of Directors of the Downtown Restoration Enhancement and Management (DREAM) group, a volunteer in training and Middleton Place, a member of the Summerville Preservation Society, and a member of the Golden Age of Summerville planning committee.
