Company History
In May 2003, marine industry leaders Randy Ramsey and Dan Reitz formed Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales (JBYS) to meet the growing demand for an all-inclusive sales and service operation in the Southeast. Not long after, Hatteras Yachts recognized this perfect match for its Carolinas customer base and awarded JBYS the authorized sales and service dealership for North Carolina, South Carolina & Georgia. JBYS' primary sales office was established at the company?s 175-acre facility in Beaufort, North Carolina. In June 2003, offices were opened in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina just a stone?s throw from the ICW. Not long after, offices were opened at the City Marina Building in Charleston, South Carolina in November of that same year.
