Welcome to Hege's Kiawah. Hege’s fits the needs of anyone who loves to have great food, atmosphere and service. We offer a casual atmophere where you can get off the course or the beach and have a great meal or drinks at the bar. We offer a children’s menu and also have patio seating available. Oven Roasted Chilean Sea Bass with grilled beefsteak tomato, parsley potatoes and lemon buerre blanc. Veal Scalloppini Meuniere with lemon, artichokes, tomatoes and garlic butter over linguini pasta. Roast Prime Rib of Beef, with shoestring fries, horseradish cream and au jus. Grilled Filet Mignon, with Sherry mushroom cream sauce, roasted potatoes and fresh asparagus.

Company History

Richard Hege, Chef-Proprietaire of Margaux's in Raleigh and former Chef-de-Cuisine at Claude's in New York City, announces the opening of "Hege's" at Freshfields Village, Kiawah Island. The cuisine at Hege's is based on simplicity, light natural sauces and recognizable menu items. Hege's uses fresh seasonal products cooked and served the way they were intended to be, and service is based on appreciative hospitality. The restaurant is French-inspired in its food and decor while the atmosphere is casual and inviting.
