Gissendanner Photography, Inc. is a full service studio located at 1209-C Sam Rittenberg Blvd, West of the Ashley in Charleston, SC. Our convenient location is minutes away from the downtown historic district and easily accessible from Summerville to the Resort Islands of Kiawah and Seabrook. At Gissendanner Photography we are dedicated to serving our many wedding, portrait, and commercial clients with the best studio services and the highest quality photography available in the Charleston Area. We maintain a well-staffed, state of the art studio with film and digital capabilities. We are available for studio and location work. Our staff includes photography, graphic design, customer service, and administrative personnel in order to properly execute jobs from the smallest personal portrait to full scale commercial assignments.
Company History
Our unique photojournalistic style has evolved from over 30 years of professional assignments ranging from advertising to travel photography. Our corporate photography has included clients such as Lucent Technologies, G.E., Bechtel and Westvaco. Locally we have worked with organizations such as Charleston Public Works and SC Stingrays Hockey Team to produce their PR photography. Our work is routinely published in many local periodicals as well as international publications. Kim Gissendanner has taught basic and college level advanced photography classes as well as lighting and posing classes to other professional photographers. He is listed among "Who's Who in Professional Imaging published by the Professional Photographers of America. He has serves as President of Lowcountry Wedding Professionals and he is an active member of PPA and WPPI.
