Charleston City Marina
Success
The City Marina Company acquired the Charleston Municipal Marina in February of 1994. Through its redevelopment efforts, The City Marina Company has revitalized the popular downtown complex, now known as the Charleston City Marina, and added The Sea Store convenience store and BP/Amoco gas station. In March of 2002, the City Marina Company opened its second Sea Store at the corner of Calhoun Steet and Rutledge Avenue, near the heart of downtown Charleston. Most recently, The City Marina Company completed the Bristol Marina, also located on the Ashley River in downtown Charleston.

From I-26 - Take I-26 to the end following signs to Hwy 17 South. Once on Hwy 17 South (Crosstown), go through 4 lights, staying in the center lane. Follow signs to Lockwood Drive. Turn left onto Lockwood Drive (before you cross the Ashley River Bridge). Marina is approximately 0.5 miles on the right at the 2nd stoplight. From Hwy 17 South - After crossing the Cooper River Bridge into downtown Charleston, stay on Hwy 17 South (Crosstown) and go through 4 lights, staying in the center lane. Follow signs to Lockwood Drive. Turn left onto Lockwood Drive (before you cross the Ashley River Bridge). Marina is approximately 0.5 miles on the right at the 2nd stoplight. From Hwy 17 North - After crossing the Ashley River Bridge, follow signs to Lockwood Drive South (1st Lockwood exit). Bear right onto Lockwood Drive. Marina is approximately 0.5 miles on the right at the second stoplight.
